Lakme Fashion Week kick starts; Sonakshi turns show stopper

Mumbai, Mar 12 The Lakme Fashion Week returned to the city on Wednesday with six fresh designers showcasing their collections in the opening show.

The six talented designers at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 were mentored by ace designer Anita Dongre.

Chandni Mohan’s collection was inspired by Preston Scott’s architecture. Working on a colour palette of black, white and red, the sharply cut angular boxy dresses, tunics, skirts offered a variety of options to the modern woman.
