.New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was on Friday attacked by this man (see picture) during a roadshow in Dakshinpuri area of South Delhi. When Kejriwal was shaking hands with his supporters, this man punched Kejriwal on his back and even tried to slap him.

Later this man was thrashed by Aap workers and handed over to police.

According to some reports this man is infact an AAP member named Abdul Fasi. Reports suggest that he was paid Rs. 25,000 but we are not in a position to confirm such reports. Even after the attack, Twitter was abuzz with the news that the whole episode was sponsored by AAP.

This however is not the first time that Kejriwal has been attacked. Earlier when he was in Varanasi, his convoy was attacked with eggs while ink was thrown at him and his party members when they were having a road show in Varanasi. In Haryana too he was attacked. The motive behind the attack on Kejiwal in Delhi is not clear yet.
