Bangalore 20th May: Venkat Jayaraman, a class VI student of Achieve School hates Math and for this reason he is not interested in studies and if given a chance will spend all his school time in the field playing games!

According to recent survey 90% percent students finds classroom teaching boring and 85 percent of students in Upper Primary cannot solve even simple division sums and forced teaching has induced math phobia among the students. No surprise, Venkat is also math phobic. This entrenched Math phobia among the students led to the birth of NumberNagar.This

unique Math module was created after a lot of intense research to understand the root cause for the phobia among students.

This brand new association is being commenced with the Annual Subscription of NumberNagar for the academic year 2013 – 2014 where all students of ASOE from Standard I – VII will be utilizing the BrainSTARS NumberNagar – Math Activity Center at Gandhi Bazaar, Bangalore, as part of the their annual math curriculum activities This  innovative tie-up takes the students out of the 4 walled classrooms  and  give them  rich, interactive experience that connects Math to our cultural ,social everyday life and the city we live.
