New Delhi: Three years is a long, long wait for any Rajinikanth fan and while after a long hiatus, the actor returns to the screen in a double role in ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, the film isn’t your typical Rajini film. Firstly it doesn’t have the actor physically present in the frames- just his animated version; secondly the film is high on grandeur and technical aspects but not so much on performances.

You see, a CGI Rajinikanth may be great with action sequences and even dance sequences but when it comes to emoting, CGI Rajini looks like a basic animated character with three basic expressions- smile, anger, grief.

There are no lovelorn looks, no romantic gestures available with this version of Rajini.

So, tongue firmly in cheek, we present the 5 basic problems one can face with a CGI Rajinikanth as a lover.

5 reasons why it will be really awkward to date the CGI Rajinikanth of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’

There are no lovelorn looks, no romantic gestures available with this version of Rajinikanth.

Expect almost minimal eye contact. Rajini might be saying love couplets holding his love in his arms but not really look at her in the eye- just glaze over. In fact eye contact will be an issue throughout.

CGI Rajini may eye his love from a distance and politely smile but never really profess his love for her. Oh but he has a problem with direct eye contact, so yes, she has to just figure out that he is glazing somewhere around the place she is standing not specifically staring at her.

There will always be awkward hugs and neck kisses. CGI Rajini is a great warrior but a shy lover clearly. When he is romancing his ladylove or for that matter canoodling or hugging her- you just wish they were a little bit closer in the frame. Its always a semi hug, a semi peck on the neck.

The hairstyle may not match up to the expectation. The bun on top of the hair with some strands left loose can give elaborate flower adorned hair do of hers’ a complex. And CGI Rajni lets his hair flowing locks open quite often.

He may not emote but he dances and sings for everything. She has to be intelligent and gauge his feelings as and when it’s needed. He will not say a word, but will sing and dance in happiness, grief, celebration etc.

CGI Rajini is also an aggressive brutal warrior seeking revenge for his father’s death. He will in the process kill his lover’s father and will marry her over the father’s dead body (literally) and she will have to be okay about the whole arrangement.
