Bangalore 4th August, 2014: Disney India invites you to celebrate with everyone’s favourite character Mickey Mouse at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, this August. The excitement gets bigger and better as Disney installs a gigantic 21 feet figurine of Mickey Mouse and organizes an array of interesting, fun and interactive activities for kids and families at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield.
Kids can participate in Musical Hoola Hoop, a variation of the popular musical chairs, but with a fun twist. Kids have to form a circle and pass the hoop from their head to toe and then to the next person as music plays. The kid with the hoola hoop gets eliminated when the music stops.
Especially designed to engage and entertain the entire family, Mickey-Big Splash, will see families showcase their imagination and creativity in this art based activity. Water colors, paint brushes and white card paper will be given to all the families, to express their idea of Disney through colors. The cards will then be put up on a large canvas in the shape of Mickey’s ears for all visitors to see. Up to 50 families can participate in this activity at a time.
How long can a person keep a bubble floating in the air? This is exactly what contestants are going to find out in the innovative challenge Keep it Up! Participants have to blow a bubble and keep it in the air for as long as they can, without letting it burst.
That’s not all; kids can also participate in a life-sized board game – the Disney Carpet Game, where they take turns to roll the life-size dice and move ahead. Those who land on the “Characters with Gifts” go ahead 4 spaces and those that land on spaces labeled “Oops!” go back 2 spaces. The first child to reach the party wins exciting prizes.
Artistic talent can also be displayed in the drawing and painting competitions to be held every 2 hours. Participants will get to showcase their imagination in the Mickey and Friends themed contest, with crayons, pencils and sheets provided by the mall.
