The ‘NSS Unit’ of Besant Women’s College was inaugurated by Mr. Yathish Baikampady on 31st July 2014 in the Besant Auditorium. The principal Prof. Pushpalatha B.K., presided over the function.
Mr. Yathish in his address congratulated the student for taking up NSS which works to the society. He advised them to be active participants of all the activities undertaken in collaboration with Mangalore City Corporation.
The programme was compeered by Ms. Swathi P. Ms. Sushmitha R., welcomed the gathering. Ms. Sharanya and Ms. Shilpashree NSS leaders gave a brief report about the forthcoming activities. Ms. Avita proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by all the NSS students and the teachers. The programme was held under the guidance of Programme Officer Prof. Meera Edna Coelho.
