Two special police teams have been formed for the arrest of Karthik Gowda, son of union minister, D V Sadananda Gowda, it is gathered.
These teams were formed by police personnel attached to R T Nagar station here, as Karthik Gowda continued to ignore notices served on him twice to appear before the police to face investigation relating to complaint filed by cine actress, Mythriya Gowda. One of these teams will leave for Madikeri, and the other for Mangalore, to search for Karthik, it is said.
Mythriya had claimed that Karthik had married her in his house in Mangalore, after which he developed physical relationship with her.
It is learnt that the investigating officers have received the medical examination report on Mythriya. The report has confirmed that the actress had developed physical relationship two months back, and that Mythriya suffers from physical exhaustion. It adds that there is no evidence of forcible sex and that the physical relationship was with mutual consent. It is however, gathered that the report could not throw light on the identity of the person with whom the actress had sex.
In the meanwhile, Karthik, who has dodged police inquiry so far, has moved an application for anticipatory bail. Hearing of his petition is yet to be heard by the court.
