BANGALORE : INDIA VS SERBIA DAVIS CUP BACK TO GARDEN CITY

Bangaloreans will be in for a treat with India & Serbia set to face-off for a place in the 2015 World Group at the KSLTA Tennis stadium from Friday, 12 Sep 2014. Ever since India beat  Indonesia in this very city during April 2013 in the Zonal relegation round, it went on to beat Chinese Taipei in Indore during April this year in the Zonal  Final Qualifying Round to get back of world groups play-off round. This time India’s opponent will be the might Serbia spearheaded by none other than the king of world Tennis, ranked No.1 and reigning Wimbledon  Champion, Novak Dokovic.

KSLTA the host association is leaving no stones unturned to make this a wonderful experience for both the team members and spectators. The stadium has been spruced up and all arrangements are nearly complete.

The organising team headed by Mr R Ashoka, MLA & former Dy . Chief Minister, GOK and Mr Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister for food & civil supplies and consumer Affairs and chairman of Organising committee have made the best possible efforts to ensure the success of this Tie.

The event would be played from 12 till 14 Sep, 12 Sep which ia day 1 will witness 2 Singles Rubbers from 3 pm.

Day 2 would be Doubles Rubber at   6.30 pm and on day 3 the two reverse singles Rubbers will be played starting from 4 pm. All the rubbers will be telecast live on DD Sports to nearly 150 countries.

Both the teams will address a pre-draw Press Conference on Wed, 10 Sep 2014 and timing for the same would be confirmed shortly
