The Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) to open on Sept 12

Kochi, 10th September 2014: The Young Entrepreneurs Summit  (YES), a first of its kind of initiative in the country and being organized by the State Industries Department in association with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) willbe held on September 12 at the Adlux International Convention Centre, Karukutty, Angamaly, in the outskirts of Ernakulam.

PK Kunhalikutty, Minister of Industries and IT will deliver the presidential address at the meet, organized in partnership with KINFRA, K-BiP, Start-up village-Kerala, Technopark-Kerala and trade bodies like Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and TiE.

PH Kurian, Principal Secretary to the Kerala government for Industries and Information Technology will deliver the welcome address. 

ArunaSundararajan, Additional Chief Secretary and Managing Director of KSIDC will present an overview of the meet. K Babu, Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Excise, Ibrahim Kunju, Minister for Public works and Anoop Jacob, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Registration & Consumer protection will deliver special addresses.

The summit will have seven sessions spanning from agriculture and food processing, tourism, business innovation and green technology, healthcare and life sciences, electronics and digital media, manufacturing and information technology.  Over 2,000 aspiring entrepreneurs, successful entrepreneurs, innovators and young prospective investors from various educational institutions are expected to attend the Summit.
