New Delhi, Feb 3: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its Vision Document for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections 2014. Senior BJP leaders, including Ananth Kumar, Satish Upadhyay, Harsh Vardhan, Nirmala Sitharaman and party’s CM candidate Kiran Bedi, were present during the release of the party’s vision document. While releasing the document Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said it will fulfill the dreams of Delhi and make the national capital world class city.
“These elections will decide if Delhi gets good, clean governance. Our government in Delhi will be transparent, completely corruption free,” added Upadhyay.
Addressing media about BJP’s vision document party’s CM face Kiran Bedi said, “This vision document covers over 270 points which will focus on the following urgent matters- women safety, security, youth affairs, electricity, water, cleanliness, environment, education and skill development.” “Complete alignment with the Govt of India for deriving maximum benefits in all key elements,” said Bedi.
To woo Sikh vote banks in the national capital the party has also mentioned bringing justice to victims of 1984 anti-Sikh pogrom. “Our priority is to deliver justice & bring to book the perpetrators of the 1984 riots,” said BJP’s CM candidate. Unlike rivals AAP and Congress, the BJP has not released manifesto.
