Karnataka Minister for Transport urges developers at Statecon 2015 to support in realizing Chief Minister’s visionÂ
CREDAI Karnataka should look into the development of infrastructure such as lakes, ponds, roads and storm water drains around the city of Bangalore, said the Karnataka Minister for Transport Mr Ramalinga Reddy at the Statecon 2015.
The annual Statecon 2015, organised by CREDAI Karnataka, held recently. The day-long event was attended by over 350 delegates from the CREDAI chapters of Bengaluru, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Hubli-Dharwad, Karwar, Mangalore, Mysore and Udupi.
Delivering his address, the state minister, who was also the chief guest of the event, said, “The city is constantly expanding and the demand for real estate will continue to grow.
Mr Reddy also said that he identified with the problems faced by real estate developers and declared his whole-hearted support in bringing in changes that will help the sector.
An important forum for real estate developers
Welcoming the gathering, Mr C.N. Govindraju, President, CREDAI-Bengaluru (which hosted the event), said, “This forum is to discuss important issues on real estate, related to the state and city.
In his message, Mr R Nagaraj, President, CREDAI-Karnataka, spoke on the role of industries in developing real estate in the state. He said, “CREDAI has been given life by the state of Karnataka and we only want to give back. We believe that boundaries need to change in all sectors, including realty and only then will we be able to see progress.â€
The Chairman of the convention, Mr Suresh Hari, also Secretary – CREDAI Bengaluru, presented the concept and contents of the seminar. The sessions covered varied topics like marketing, technology, finance, safety and administration.
Past-President Mr Balakrishna Hegde presented the various issues affecting the growth of real estate Industry like cement price hike, sand rate etc in Karnataka. During his address, he also offered suggestions for these issues, which could bring in positive results.
BBMP Commissioner Mr.M.Lakshminarayana addressed the gathering with assurance to discuss various suggestions presented.
