The success of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in sustaining battle for long has been attributed to its money making tactics, which experts claim are highly sophisticated. But reports are now suggesting that the group is now making money by harvesting human organs.
Mohamed Alhakim, Iraq’s Ambassador to the United States, caused a sensation when he said that bodies with surgical incisions and missing kidneys or other body parts have been found in shallow mass graves near ISIS stronghold Mosul.
According to a report published in Frankfurter Allgemeine Sunday newspaper, the Islamic State is selling dead bodies of Kurdish fighters for 10,000 to 20,000 bucks to Kurdish militias.
Reports suggest that the militant group has executed some doctors for not harvesting body organs.
CNN recently published a report giving details about the source of income of the ISIS.
