48-year-olod Giancarlo Orsini, a mafia hitman in Rome, has confessed to at least five unsolved armed attacks and murders.

It is a price list with a twist.

A mafia hitman in Italy has revealed how much he charged for each of his grisly crimes.

Giancarlo Orsini told investigators he charged $3,700 for a kneecapping, and up to $27,000 for a murder.

The 48-year-old has carried out a string of mafia contracts but is now under arrest.

He told Corriere della Sera newspaper that whatever the job he would work the same way — arrive on a stolen scooter wearing a helmet and sunglasses and claiming to be a bailiff — before shooting.

His victims were varied however.

He kneecapped Cinzia Pugliese, a 61-year-old beautician at her tanning shop in Rome.

He was paid almost $20,000 for killing Federico Di Meo, a cocaine dealer who had fallen out with a gang of Albanians.

And Orsini got $27,000 for shooting and killing loan shark Sesto Corvini in his work van.

However he was tracked down by police after a stolen scooter was traced back to his home.

He has subsequently confessed to at least five unsolved armed attacks.
