Young girl found dead near railway tracks

A dead body of a girl youth has been found near the railway tracks at Nagur in Kirimanjeshwara.

At around 3 pm in the evening of Sunday March 8, some women who were working in a groundnut farm spotted the dead body of the youth. Circle inspector M Sudarshana and sub inspector Santosh Kaikini visited the place for further action.

Meanwhile the police learned that on Saturday night a person named Sanish Pal had complained that his mentally retarded sister Remiya Pal was missing from Mangala express train. Police now suspect that the body found could be that of Remiya who could have fallen off the moving train by accident.

The dead body has been moved to a hospital and Sanil Pal has been informed. The travel details of Sanil are exactly not yet known.
