Kashish became victim of her husband’s suspicion that she was having physical relations with other men. Kashish married Deepak Gupta against the wish of her parents, but their love marriage failed to pass the test of trust.
Soon after marriage, Deepak started suspecting her character and got in touch with Kashish’s ex-lover Vishal Upadhyay, a student leader of a political party. According to sources, Vishal was deeply in love with Kashish, but after her marriage decided to look for ways to take his revenge.
Vishal’s movement came when Kashish’s husband Deepak shared his feelings with him, say police.
One day Deepak took Kashish on a long drive. Soon they were in Kopaganj, nearly 10 km away from their home. Since this was a desolate place, Deepak strangulated Kashish to death near Dandi Bridge in Kopaganj.
Soon Vishal joined him. Sadly, the worst part of this tragic story was yet to unfold.
Vishal came with a saw. Then they cut up Kashish’s body into parts so as to easily dispose of without being caught.
On March 13, severed body parts of a woman were recovered near the Dandi Bridge.
Kashish’s body parts were stuffed in three bags and left at different places.
Severed head was kept in a jute bag and left near railway colony.
According to police, one poly bag which was used to dispose of Kashish’s body parts contained one purchase bill that belonged to a shop in a shopping mall. On reviewing the footage, the police managed to identify the deceased.
As seen in the video, on February 25, Kashish bought a mug from a shop. Further investigations were carried out which led to her college and finally to her home.
Kashish was student of DC SKPG College. Two years back, Kashish got friendly with Deepak who worked at the agency where she used to take her scooty for servicing. Soon they were in love and finally they decided to get married against the wishes of their parents.
According to police, soon the couple started fighting on trivial issues. Deepak no longer trusted Kashish and even accused her of having physical relations with other men.
But no one even imagined that Deepak and Vishal would resort to such a cruelty to take revenge from her.
Now both the accused–Deepak and Vishal–are behind the bars.
