At least six people were killed and several others injured when a train has got derailed at Bachhrawan in Rae Bareli. According to the reports, the three coaches of Dehradun-Varanasi Express was derailed in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning.
Around six passengers were killed on the spot in the accident, leaving more than 30 injured. The failure of locomotive brakes of the train has been considered as one of the reason for the incident. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the family of each person, who were killed in the train mishap.
