Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh, who paid his tributes to those killed in the Kathua terror attack, on Friday said that Pakistan is not rectified their ways.

“My tributes to those who died in the Kathua attack. Our neighbour is not rectifying their ways,” said Singh.

Meanwhile, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Naeem Akhtar also condemned the attack and assured that the government would make every effort to stop such attacks.

“We condemn this attack strongly, want to tell those who perpetrated this that the government will make every effort to stop such attacks,” said Akhtar.

One policeman was killed while nine others, including seven CRPF personnel, were injured in an attack on the Rajbagh Police Station in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district earlier this morning.

A militant was also shot dead by the security forces in the ensuing gun battle.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has instructed the Jammu and Kashmir Home Secretary to actively monitor the situation. He is expected to make a statement on the Kathua terror attack in the Lok Sabha today.
