Daniel Craig might have undergone knee surgery to post an injury caused during filming of ‘ Spectre,’ but that won’t delay the production of the film.

A statement from Eon Productions said “During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood.

A rep for the company said that the operation, which occurred during the Easter break, was only minor.

The Sam Mendes directed 24th James Bond title has been hit by several issues during its lengthy shoot including the Sony hack when an early draft of the script was leaked online.

News of Craig’sinjury first surfaced in February when the 46-year-old 007 actor reportedly hurt himself while filming a fight scene. Production execs at the time moved to deny claims the incident would affect production or, more importantly, the film’s release date November 6.

The production also faced trouble in Rome when monks turned down the request of filming in the city’s largest cemetery, while officials also nixed a scene set to shoot in the Eternal City’s Quattro Fontane
