Apple’s much-awaited device the Apple Watch is now available for pre-orders online.
The smartwatch is now available in display stores across Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom, and all its models, are backordered for at least four to six weeks, with the less expensive ones backordered until June.
The most expensive model with modern buckle is 38mm 18-karat gold, costing 17,000 dollars. The Apple Watch Sport has a rubbery band and starts at 349 dollars, while the Apple Watch Edition crafted with 18-karat gold, begins at 10,000 dollars.
The products will be shipped from April 24 onwards.
Hootan Yaghoobzadeh, one of the first few customers of the watch, said that he was happy with the smooth running watch, but a little disappointed too as its leather band was “a little rubbery.”
He also said that in his demo session he was advised by the Apple Watch professional to consider the size of the watches and style of the bands.
