The first responder bike ambulances launched by the State government have been attending at least five cases everyday on an average.
Most of the patients who have been treated so far, are victims of road traffic accidents.
Launched on April 15, the service has been availed by 27 patients in various parts of Bengaluru City. While five cases were attended on the Sumanahalli bridge, four each in KR Puram and near Gali Anjaneya Temple and the rest were attended near Banashankari bus stand, City Civil Court, Indiranagar, Manyata Tech Park and Nice toll junction.
It may be recalled that just hours after it was launched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, a paramedic on the bike ambulance attended to one of the cases at KR Puram.
