US authorities have started investigating the death of late Blues legend B.B. King after two of his daughters claimed that the singer was poisoned.
Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg said that at this point, they did not have evidence that these allegations of foul play will be “substantiated”.
However, a statement from the Las Vegas Police Department said that until such time as the Clark County Coroner determines King’s death to be from other than natural causes, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was not moving forward with any investigation.
The American singer died in his sleep at his Las Vegas home on 14th May, aged 89 and at the time, his doctor and the coroner said he had died of a series of small strokes connected to his Type 2 diabetes.
