Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Tuesday said Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, the Centre and the Delhi Government have failed enormously in solving the power sharing issue in the national capital, which in turn is making the people of the city suffer.
“There has been an enormous failure on the part of the Central Government, its representative; the Lieutenant Governor and the state government. Everybody is standing with their own egos and the victims are the people of Delhi,” said Singhvi.
The Raj Niwas had earlier clarified that the anti-graft body functions under the ‘authority, control and supervision’ of the Lieutenant Governor, adding that it has not received any proposal for such a deputation following the Delhi Government ‘hiring’ police officers from Bihar for the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).
The Delhi government has ‘hired’ six police officers for the ACB, with reports stating that one Deputy Superintendent of Police and five inspectors and sub-inspectors will be joining the body soon.
