The inmates at the country’s largest prison, Tihar jail, practiced yoga on Saturday morning ahead of the International Yoga Day tomorrow.
A full-dress rehearsal of the Yoga Day celebrations was held at Rajpath yesterday morning.
Thousands of school children, members of the armed forces, National Cadet Corps (NCC), government officials and yoga enthusiasts will perform yoga at Rajpath during the celebration of International yoga Day on June 21.
The event would see the participation of over 35, 000 people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also take part in the event and address the gathering before kick-starting it on Sunday.
