LG has announced a new smartphone called G4 Beat which is a mid range variant of the company’s flagship G4 smartphone.
G4 Beat will have a 5.2 inches Quad HD screen which is smaller than G4 which is 5.5 inches. It will have a 1080p display with pixel density of 423 ppi. The G4 will be 4G LTE capable with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and with a chipset of an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Also, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.
LG said that they retained retains the best features and functions of the LG G4 in this handset delivering value without compromising performance or usability.
LG says that the handset will retail at an estimated price of USD 440 but exact pricing will vary in each market.
The G4 Beat will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold when it launches this month across Europe and Latin America. After that, It will then be released globally.
