Haryana Government raise Value Added Tax on diesel from 12.5% to 16.4%

The Haryana Government on Thursday raised the Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel from 12.5 percent to 16.4 percent.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Government raised the VAT on diesel from 12.5 percent to 13.4 percent.

The revised rates would be effective from today.

On Wednesday, petrol prices hiked in the national capital by Rs 2.78 per litre and diesel by Rs 1.83 as the Delhi Government raised VAT.
