Local elections in North Korea has seen 99.97 percent voter participation rate, according to reports.
The polls took place to elect new representatives chosen by the ruling party for assemblies at provincial, city and county levels.
According to reports, there was extraordinary enthusiasm among all participants in the elections to cement the revolutionary power through the elections of deputies to the local people’s assemblies.
People who did not vote were out of the country with elderly and ill casting their votes into “mobile ballot boxes”.
