UN nations declares Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s 79th birthday as World Students Day

Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday October 15th is observed as World Students Day, UN nations declared showing gratitude for his extended services to country and students.

India’s 11th President who is the most eminent scientist, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam birthday i.e. October 15th is observed as World Students Day, it was declared by United Nations on Kalam’s 79th birth anniversary. Since October 15th is dedicated for students all over the world.

Dr. Kalam who is well-known as people’s president, Missile man was died on 27th July, 2015 while taking a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong.

His body was shifted Delhi on Tuesday morning, many political celebrities paid tribute to beloved former president Dr.Kalam.

P.B Acharya governor of Assam and Nagaland is also paid his tributes to Missile man on Tuesday and reminding Dr.Kalam’s 79th birth anniversary which was celebrated as World Students Day by United Nation. The great son of mother India kalam had always conveyed his wish to be recalled as teachers by the people. He always spent his time with young generation and he is the most motivating personality of present times for the students and young generation.

A bachelor and former president of India during 2002-2007 has been awarded with highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna’ for his contribution to the scientific research and modernisation of defence technology in India.

He is also author of famous books ‘Wings of Fire’, ‘India 2020 – A Vision for the New Millennium’, My journey’ and Ignited Minds – Unleashing the power within India’, all these books have been translated in many Indian languages.

Kalam is all about knowledge, teaching and learning and is the only person in history who talked non-controversial, addressing mostly to students. Hence the United Nations declared his birthday to be celebrated as World Students Day.
