Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has set up a committee to advise him on tackling corruption and ways to reform the nation’s legal system.

The seven-member Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption is mostly made up of academics.

The Nigerian President was elected in May, mainly on a promise to tackle corruption.

He claimed that he believes government officials had stolen about 150 billion dollars from the public purse over the past decade.
