Australian batsman Chris Rogers confirmed that he will retire from all formats of international cricket after the fifth and the last Ashes Test, which starts from August 20 at the Oval.

The 37-year-old had earlier said that the current Ashes series would be his last one.

Roger’s 173-run in the first innings at the Lord’s helped Australia in claiming a 405-run victory over England.

Rogers, who is the top scorer for Australia in the current Ashes series, has scored a total of 437 runs at an average of 62.42.

The final Ashes Test against England will be Roger’s 25th and his last match for his country.
