Former home secretary and BJP MP R.K. Singh on Monday slammed Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz over his recent remark, saying Islamabad should understand that nuclear weapons are not toys.
“Pakistan should understand that nuclear weapons are not toys. Sartaj Aziz making irresponsible statement is serious,” Singh said.
“This has happened before. Whenever they feel that we have the information about Dawood Ibrahim’s location, the location is changed,” he added.
Accusing “Modi’s India” of acting like a regional superpower, Aziz had said his nuclear-armed country was capable of defending itself.
The Pakistani NSA’s remark came after the cancellation of India-Pakistan NSA talks, scheduled for Monday, over New Delhi’s objection to his invitation to Hurriyat leaders for a meeting.
