Seamless Aircel 3G experience to enjoy Dubsmash and Twitter.
Aircel, one of India’s leading telecom players, once again reinforced youth as its primary customer segment to drive revenue growth by launching the “Aircel Extra Majaa Squad†(AEMS) in Bengaluru.
This unique youth engagement initiative by Aircel will see the “Aircel Extra Majaa Squad†travel to different colleges in the city namely Ambedakar Institute of Technology, Sambhram Institute of Technology, Jain College, and engage with the students through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Understanding the need of the youth to communicate effectively and stay updated, Aircel created this remarkable youth activation program wherein the students of the participating colleges will get to first-hand experience seamless Aircel 3G connectivity on the spot.
To ensure that the students get to first-hand experience Aircel 3G, the Aircel Extra Majaa Squad will include innovative on-ground contests such as Super Syncer Dubsmash and Fastest Tweeter First.
In Super Syncer Dubsmash, the contestants will be invited to lip-sync and act their favorite songs out in front of the crowd holding their smartphones. They contestants will then upload the video on Aircel’s FB page using Aircel 3G network and utilize the social media (Whats App/Twitter/FB) to generate maximum likes for the video. The contestant with the maximum number of likes on that day will be entitled to an Aircel SIM with preloaded 3G data.
In Fastest Tweeter first, the audience would be asked a set of five ‘quick fire’ trivia questions which they would then need to tweet on the Aircel twitter page by logging on to Aircel 3G network. The user who posts the maximum number of correct answer tweets for each of these five questions will be declared as a winner.
To let the college crowd ‘live’ the Aircel 3G experience, a specially designed Aircel Extra Majaa SIM with a pre-loaded 3G data limit, will also be on offer for the winners of every contest
