Reprimanding RJD patron and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad’s reservation rhetoric, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday said it is a constitutional issue and added that Lalu’s reservation is only limited to his family – his sons and daughters.
When told that Lalu was promoting divisive politics between backward and forward communities, Pradhan said the RJD patron was living in the mental state of 90s, and added that to boost the morale of his party workers, he wanted to create tension in society.
“Lalu can foresee that the BJP is coming to power in Bihar, and, that is why he is nervous,” he added.
The Election Commission has sent a notice to Lalu for his recent casteist remarks on the election in Bihar.
