Zimbabwe will host Afghanistan for five one-day internationals (ODIs) and two T20 internationals in mid-October.
Confirming the news, Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani said they are glad to have Afghanistan touring.
Afghanistan’s last tour to Zimbabwe , in which the two sides played four ODIs and two four-day games , ended deadlocked at 2-2 and 1-1 respectively.
Reflecting his views on the last year result, Mukuhlani said Zimbabwe is hoping for a victory this year in order to return the love of their cricket fans.
Zimbabwe will play their first ODI against Afghanistan on October 16 and first T20 on October 27.
