Bollywood’s top actors Kangana Ranaut and Irrfan Khan may now act together in a film titled ‘ Ae Mohabbat’, which is a biopic based on Begum Akhtar.
According to sources, the 48-year-old actor has been confirmed for the male lead, but Kangana has yet to sign on officially.
Producer Jalota said that they are trying to get the 28-year-old actress to play one of the stages of the renowned ghazal and thumri singer in the film.
The producer further added that it is not really a biopic but a feature film and they are planning it release it next year.
The flick is being directed by Ketan Mehta along with a soundtrack by A.R. Rehman.
