Pakistan batsman Azhar Ali, who missed the first Test against England due to foot infection, is also likely to miss the second Test following the death of his mother-in-law.
Team manager Intikhab Alam said that Ali would return home and added that it was still unclear whether he would return to the squad before the upcoming Test.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah, who was also ruled out of the first Test due to back spasm, has been included in the squad.
Earlier, the opening Test of the three-match series ended with a dramatic draw after England’s Adil Rashid claimed a five-wicket haul to dismiss Pakistan for a paltry 173 in the second innings.
The two sides will now lock horns in the second Test on October 22 in Dubai.
