On 12th November the Blind cricketers had a unique opportunity to interact with the Men in blue for a considerable amount of time. Lead by Sri S P Nagesh President Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar General Secretary CABI, Indian Captain Shekar Nayak and other players interacted with some of the members of the Indian team. Virat Kohli the Indian Captain for the tests Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Arun Varun, Stuart Binny were some of the players who tried playing with the special ball used in blind cricket blind folded.

The affection with which the interaction took place was worth all efforts. It was one of the most memorable days in the lives of the blind cricketers and a perfect and most coveted Deepawali gift. Cricket is a religion and cricketers are considered as Gods in this country. So the blind cricket team felt immensely happy and blessed meeting their role models. Sri Ravi Shastri Director of the Indian Cricket team was also present on the occasion. CABI is very grateful to Sri Lele for making the interaction happen. CABI and all the blind cricketers of India wish the Indian team great success during the test series.
