Bollywood celebs are paying their tribute to the veteran actor Saeed Jaffrey, who passed away on November 14 after suffering from a brain haemorrhage.
Offering her condolences to the 86-year-old actor’s family, Priyanka Chopra tweeted, “A global icon.. An Actor par excellence with a legacy few can boast of.. RIP #SaeedJaffrey U gave us the courage to explore..” which was followed by her tweet, “My condolences @sakinajaff . I wish you and your family courage…”
Actor Shekhar Kapur tweeted, “Goodbye dear Sayeed. Started my career with u in Masoom. Cant forget ur kindness n enthusiasm for your art n others.”
Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor shared a picture of Saeed and wrote, “R I P.My friend,my colleague of several films-Syd Jeffries alias Sayeed Jaffri to the world,leaves us.Cheers to you!”
Other celebs including Madhur Bhandarkar, Shaan, Nimrat Kaur and Daler Mehndi also tweeted to mourn the death of the actor, who is survived by his wife Jennifer Jaffrey.
