Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah has ruled out all possibilities of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) being present in the country.

Khalilullah denied any footprint of ISIS in Pakistan, saying that the country will not even tolerate anyone associated with the terror group.

He said the country was aware of the threat posed by the militant group, adding the security forces were on full alert.

Earlier Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, while addressing the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies in London, termed the group a greater threat than al Qaeda.
