Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated Making of Constitution exhibition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the ‘ Making of Constitution’ exhibition in the Parliament premises in observation of the first Constitution Day.

Senior leaders, including Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari besides others were present at the event.

Prime Minister Modi greeted the nation on the occasion and invoked Father of the Indian Constitution B. R. Ambedkar.

“Greetings to people of India on the historic occasion of 1st Constitution Day. May this day inspire you to know more about our Constitution,” he tweeted.

“This day is a tribute to all those great women & men who worked tirelessly to give India a Constitution we are very proud of.

No mention of our Constitution is complete without remembering the stellar contribution of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. I salute him,” he added in a series of tweets.

The Prime Minister also urged the nation to always uphold the ideals and values of the Constitution and create an India that would make our founding fathers very proud.

Speaking before the Parliament Session, Prime Minister Modi said that the ‘Constitution is a ray of hope.

“H for Harmony, O for Opportunity, P for People’s Participation, E for Equality,” he added.
