Belgian Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne’s brace saw Manchester City thrash Hull 4-1 to reach the semifinals of the League Cup.
Wilfried Bony gave City an early lead, scoring the opener in the 12th minute of the match whereas Kelechi Iheanacho also chipped in, turning Raheem Sterling’s cross into the goal in the 80th minute.
Thereafter De Bruyne raced past the Hull defence to score twice in the 82nd and the 87th minute, thus leaving no chance for the opponents to make a comeback in the game.
Andrew Robertson dinked the Championship side’s consolation in the dying moments of the game.
