Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has hailed the spirit his side had displayed during their pulsating 2-1 win over Swansea City and insisted them to continue their rampaging form in order to win the Premier League title.
Reflecting on his side’s performance, the 62-year-old admitted that his side didn’t play quite well, but added that they managed to outclass the opponents.
Pellegrini also said that he was relieved to have secured important three points with a win over Swansea.
Earlier, City had progressed through to the Champions League knockouts following their 4-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach and thereby finished at the top spot in the group standings.
City are currently second in the Premier League table and will next lock horns with league leaders Arsenal on December 22.
