Seven people lose vision after cataract surgery at Rajkot’s charitable hospital

Seven people lost vision on Tuesday after undergoing cataract surgeries at a charitable hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The reason for the mishap is yet to be deciphered.

The laboratory and the operation theatre of the hospital have been sealed to gather reports of a possible infection. The reports would be received after three days, and only then can a conclusion be reached over the reason of the botched up surgery.
