National Socialist Council of Nagaland – Khaplang terrorist killed in Nagaland

One National Socialist Council of Nagaland – Khaplang (NSCN-K) terrorist was killed in an encounter by the security forces in Sukhovi, Nagaland.

The Naga insurgent group NSCN(K), which carried out the Manipur ambush in which 18 Indian Army personnel were killed, was banned by the government as a ‘terrorist organisation’ under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
