Karnataka State Volleyball Association & Volleyball Federation of India has organized a national level event. i.e., 64th Senior National Volleyball Championship For Men & Women 2016. Today, Jan 2nd 2016 the championship was officially inaugurated through lighting the lamp by H’ble State Transport Minister Shri Ramalinga Reddy. Just before that all the teams did a beautiful parade and assembled inside the ground. After that H’ble President of Volleyball Federation of India Shri Choudhary Avadesh Kumar announced the official opening of the championship. BBMP Mayor Mr.Manjunath Reddy conveyed his best wishes to the state team members just before the start of first match between Karnataka & Rajasthan.
Chief guests (Please refer the invitation), Volleyball Federation of India members, Karnataka Volleyball Association team {Shri Dr.Bettegowda, President (Karnataka Volleyball Association) Mr.Harish (Former Deputy Mayor, BBMP & Chairman of the organizing committee of 64th Senior National Volleyball Championship 2016), Shri Nandakumar, (General Secretary, Karnataka Volleyball Association)} & other KVA officials were present at the venue.
64th Senior National Volleyball Championship is a 9 day event starting from today, 2nd January and will go on till 10th January. Qualifiers matches will be held at Kittur Rani Chennamma ground, Jayanagar & Shankar Mutt playground, Rajajinagar. Rest of the matches will be held at & Kanteera Indoor Stadium.
