Bollywood Fusion Music at Inorbit Mall Bollywood, Sufi and Rock fusion acts to perform Live at Inorbit

May 27, 2014, Bangalore: Witness a choice of music styles to set the pace this weekend at Inorbit Mall Whitefield, with Einstein Samarpan and the Silverjar Band performing on May 31st, followed by Puneet Dixit and Robin C with Debjit on June 1st. Expect Sufi, Rock and Bollywood music for an entertaining weekend.

When he’s not performing, Einstein is inculcating his love for music in the next generation through teaching music and music appreciation in compassionate, inspiring and motivated classrooms for youngsters.

Silverjar, formed in 2010, brings back good old Hard Rock, with focus on solid melodies and strong riffs.

The band describes their music as that which audiences can relate to, identify with, and most importantly, understand without losing itself to the technicality of playing.

Puneet Dixit with Boond and Robin C with Debjit Mukherjee on Sunday, June 1st

A trained classical singer, Puneet Dixit came in the spotlight when he participated in the singing competiton SaReGaMaPa in 2011. Post that he has worked on many Bollywood movies as an assistant music director to Pritam and Sohail Sen. His big break came while working on the Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger. When not assisting on Bollywood blockbusters, Puneet tours the country with his band Boond.

Robin C is a renowned rock guitar player who has collaborated with many artistes from Bollywood singers like James and Kolkata based maestros, Ranjan Ghosal and Cactus Front man, Abhishek. Now, Robin’s expertise is in film scores, jam sessions, supporting other artist’s albums, recording with other great Indian guitarists and writing material for his own solo projects alongside music production with Asit Tripathy.

A trained Sufi and melodic singer from Kolkata, Debjit Mukherjee, has built up quite a reputation for his talent and performances with other bands and at rock festivals.

So, head to Inorbit Mall as all these talented artistes come together for a musical smorgasbord this weekend.

Inorbit Mall is hosting a weekend filled with great music and entertainment as a part of Inorbit Live, an initiative by the mall to provide entertainment through musical performances, dance, stand up comedy acts, plays etc.
