Three artefacts from Titanic survivors to be auctioned to fetch around 70,000 dollars

Three artefacts, which belonged to passengers who survived the tragic 1912 sinking of the Titanic, is up for auction and is likely to fetch around 70,000 dollars.

The items for the auction includes a letter written by a survivor, a menu and a ticket to the Turkish bath aboard the vessel and each of the valuable item is expected to rake in several thousand dollars.

In addition to these items, the one of only four known printed tickets from the Titanic’s weighing chair, a device used to record a person’s weight in the Titanic’s Turkish Baths cooling room is also up for the sale.

The menu from the ship’s last lunch, which will be auctioned on September 30 by live online auction house Invaluable.com, will also mark the 30 year anniversary of the discovery of the RMS Titanic at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
