Justin Gatlin ran the joint sixth-quickest 100 meters, laying down an incredible marker for the rest of the athletics season by running a personal best of 9.74 seconds, to win the race at the Diamond League in Doha.
The Olympic gold medalist who served a two doping bans, including a four-year suspension from 2006 to 2010, sprinted away to win his first race of this year in less than seconds.
Meanwhile, Britain’s James Dasaolu didn’t have the greatest of nights as he finished last after completing the race in 10.14 seconds.
