Yakub Memon, convicted in the March 12, 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts, was hanged till death at the Nagpur Central Jail on Thursday morning, a few hours after the Supreme Court dismissed his last-minute attempt to escape the gallows by rejecting his plea for a stay on the death warrant.
