Following a bomb scare, two Air France planes that were diverted for security purposes landed safely.

The diverted planes landed and the passengers have been evacuated safely.

An Air France flight travelling from Los Angeles to Paris had been diverted to Salt Lake City. The flight was an Airbus 380 Air France flight 65, heading to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, according to the daily.

The second diverted flight was Air France flight number 55 which was travelling from Washington Dulles to Paris, landed safely in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

It has not been confirmed if both the ‘bomb threats’ are in any way related to the Paris attacks, but nevertheless, heavy security measures are being maintained in Europe and the US.
