Australia’s veteran pace bowler Peter Siddle, who has been recalled to the national squad for the historic day and night Test, has said he is hoping to trouble New Zealand batting mainstay Kane Williamson at the Adelaide Oval.

Siddle had dismissed Williamson once from his four attempts in the last series in Australia in 2011. He said that he has had some good success against Williamson, and expressed that he hopes to replicate the same performance again.

Describing Williamson as a `class` player, the 30-year-old said the New Zealand batsman has become a lot smarter and tighter, Stuff.co.nz

reported.

Siddle further said that Williamson is extremely patient and it would be a big aim to stop the batting marvel.

Williamson has been in superb form as he has accumulated 397 runs, including two brilliant centuries in the four innings of the ongoing series.

Australia are currently leading the three-match series 1-0 against New Zealand and will now take on the visitors in the Pink ball Test, which starts in Adelaide on November 27.
